Overview

The Beechcraft Baron is a light twin-engine aircraft manufactured by Beechcraft. It has primarily been used for military purposes, but it has also been used for atmospheric research on clouds and lightning. It has a service ceiling of 19,700 feet, a range of 942 nautical miles, and a maximum speed of 205 knots. It can accommodate one crew member and 6 passengers.
